Say Good Bye Day - 8th of March

Snowmass - 7th of March

Today we were undecided about going back to Highlands or stay in Snowmass but them heavy snow came with low visibility which made us want to stay in Snowmass which is home for us. Finally we got to know what this place is famous for.

Snowmass - 6th of March

Back to Snowmass, this incredible Snow Resort is where we are convenient located, not only there are lots of options to ski or snowboard but it is just around the block from our condo, giving us freedom to leave and come back at the best time we choose. Today the snow finally came in the afternoon and after so much fun, nothing better than relaxing the sore muscles at the jacuzzi.

At night we went out for dinner in Aspen with a former exchange student from USA to Brazil who lives in the area. The local Italian Restaurant was a lot of fun.

Aspen - Highlands - 5th of March

Today our special adventure was at Aspen Highlands, another well know Ski Resort in the area.
Everyone particularly liked those slopes as one of the bests for skiing and snowboarding.
Beautiful weather was waiting for us but tomorrow forecasts a lot of snow, what everyone is very much expecting.
Tonight we made delicious hamburgs using our barbecue grill. It was a good time.

Aspen - 4th of March

Today is Aspen Day, we went early to check this World Famous Ski Resort. Everybody was impressed to see how high the Gondola takes all the skiers and snowboarders. Once in the top all the fun beginnings at the 15min non stop way down.
After skiing until the last minute it was time to enjoy the town of Aspen and its fancy streets.
Return to our Condo extremely tired but so happy for the amazing day.
As usual Andreas cooked us Italian Spaghetti.

Snowmass - 3rd of March

Today we started the day with a fast breakfast and a short bus ride to the village of Snowmass. First off all, before we could start skiing we had to rent skis and snowboards. The shop was very small, but recommended as the by far best one in Snowmass. Short after that, we actually started skiing. We took the first lift up and after taking a lot of pictures with the breathtaking view we made our first ski-run. The snow was better than expected, because down in the village was not much snow and you were able to see the green grass on the sides of the street. After the first three hours of skiing we stopped for lunch at the Stew Pot. We relaxed and gave our legs some time to rest, before we went back on the slopes. Snowmass is the biggest skiing complex in this area, so we enjoyed to use a bunch of different lifts to ski down many slopes. The last lift went at fifteen after four pm, we took it and finally went back to the condo, because of all the skiing we were all very exhausted and hungry. First we went into the hot tub next to our condo and then we bought some food so Andreas could cook some Italian pasta for us.

Arrival - 2nd of March

Today students arrived from different parts of USA to the beautiful Colorado, they landed in Eagle Airport now known as Vail Airport. After all had arrived to drove for about 2 hours to Snowmass. The students had the chance to see the beautiful landscape, crossing and following the Colorado River and driving through historical western towns.

After arrival we had dinner and everybody went straight to bad as we were tired and exited to wake up early for the next day.
